While lifting limitations during lockdown are anticipated, developments are highly depended on how the Covid-19 virus is responding in any area. With dealerships in certain areas being allowed to operate now, it will not be possible for manufacturers to honour all warranty commitments that were to be carried out during lockdown. As such, it’s only likely that warranty and service commitments will be further extended, especially those that were earlier announced as extended until May 2020 end.
