The Classic 350 and Bullet 350 have been Royal Enfield’s best selling motorcycles in India for many years now. The two motorcycles also recently received updates to make them BS6-compliant. Here, we take a look at the details of the Classic 350 and Bullet 350 that differentiate them from each other.
Styling
Royal Enfield has designed the Classic 350 as well as Bullet 350 keeping in mind classic motorcycles. Both get round, conventionally-lit headlamps and are adorned with chrome elements to suit their retro styling. However, the two motorcycles get slight cosmetic differences that set them apart visually. To begin with, the Classic 350 gets tank grips which the Bullet 350 misses out on. It also sports a pulled-back handlebar whereas the unit on the Bullet 350 is slightly higher, which offers the rider an even more upright riding posture.

Furthermore, the Bullet 350 sports a square battery box instead of the oval box fitted on the Classic 350. The motorcycles also get differently-styled rear fender and tail lamp. While the Classic 350 has a curved rear fender and round tail lamp, the Bullet gets a boxy fender with a rectangular tail lamp. However, the most distinguishable design element on the two motorcycles is the seat. The Bullet offers a ‘shoe-shaped’ single-piece seat with a ribbed pattern. On the other hand, the Classic 350 sports only the rider seat as standard that come with springs underneath.
Colour options
Royal Enfield is offering the Classic 350 in ten colour options- Mercury Silver, Ash, Chestnut, Redditch Red and Pure Black for the single-channel ABS model. The dual-channel variant gets Stealth Black, Gunmetal Grey, Stormrider Sand, Chrome and Airborne Blue.

Royal Enfield has equipped both motorcycles with an analogue instrument cluster. However, the two units have a slight difference. While the Classic 350 sports a low-fuel indicator and engine check light, the Bullet offers an amp meter. Furthermore, the Classic is offered in single-channel ABS and dual-channel ABS options, unlike the Bullet which only comes with single-channel ABS.
Cycle Parts
While the Classic and Bullet share similar suspension hardware- 35mm telescopic forks up front and twin shocks at the rear- the motorcycles get a different braking setup. The Bullet 350 is equipped with a 280mm disc for the front and a 153mm drum at the rear as standard.
