The retro-styled classic motorcycle showcased in Czech Republic appears to be in its Indian specification judging by the license plate at front and since it does not require such identity, the front number plate won’t be used there. Other details will largely remain identical including the design and features. However, the namesake Jawa could undergo changes to the engine and othe

Over 1 MN Bajaj Boxer Exported Last Fiscal From India

Image
The entire industry remained gripped in clutches of sales lockdown in FY2019-20 but export market soared with motorcycles like Bajaj Boxer and TVS Star City clocking a decent growth Like we have been saying for a while now, the entire automobile industry of the country remained affected by a sales slowdown last financial year, with almost every car and bike manufacturer reporting a de-growth on YoY basis. The situation was so grim that even industry leaders, like Hero MotoCorp, witnessed a drop in demand for almost all their models. The export market, however, has a different story to tell. While times were turbulent in the country, the export numbers saw a healthy growth, at least for some of the models. Perched atop the sales chart of the two-wheeler exports in FY2019-20 is the Bajaj Boxer , which clocked over 1 million exports in the previous calendar year. The Bajaj Boxer sold 10,93,451 units in the previous financial year. This corresponds to a decent 20 per cen

Kawasaki Z125 Pro Transformed Into A Fully-Faired Ninja H2 Look-Alike

Image
The modified Z125 pro motorcycle has been dubbed ‘h2’, and it will be sold as a complete motorcycle unlike the usual aftermarket kits available in the market A Kawasaki dealership in Japan has gone all the way to transform a Z125 Pro naked street-fighter into a fully-faired sports bike, at least visually. The customised motorcycle has been pictured alongside a Ninja H2, and it looks like a miniature version of the latter. The Pleasure MC Kawasaki dealership of Nisshin, Aichi Prefecture, is calling the modified bike ‘h2’, with a small h. The Kawasaki Ninja H2 is powered by a 998 cc in-line four-cylinder supercharged motor that belts out an astonishing 231 PS of maximum power along with 141 Nm of peak torque, and the said motor comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. These numbers make it one of the fastest road-legal motorcycles in the entire world. On the other hand, the Z125 Pro is a tiny 125 cc ‘mini naked’ streetfighter motorcycle that has been equipped with a 4-stroke,

Only 2-Wheeler Suzuki Manufacturer With Positive Growth In 2020

Image
The Indian 2-wheeler industry clocked a de-growth of 17.8% in the previous financial year, 55,66,036 Scooters, 1,12,14,640 Motorcycles and 6,36,940 scooters were sold in FY20 As we have been saying, the prolonged sales slowdown made the previous financial year really tough for Indian car and bike manufacturers. In the last fiscal, the overall two wheeler industry clocked a de-growth of 17.8% on YoY basis. As has been the case for some years now, the motorcycle sales far outnumbered the retail of scooters as 64% of two wheelers sold in India were motorcycles. Quite unsurprisingly, every motorcycle manufacturer, with the exception of Suzuki , witnessed a dip in sales. The Indian subsidiary of the Japanese motorcycle manufacturer, however, could post a marginal 2.5% growth as its sales increased from 6,68,787 units in FY19 to 6,85,223 units in FY2020. It enjoys the fifth place on the sales charts of the last financial year. As usual, the first place goes to Hero MotoCorp

While the website has been updated with the new BS 6 products, the older BS 4 models have been removed completely. Previously, it was rumored that the company had ceased the production of Avenger 220 Street and it stopped supplying the stock to the dealerships in March. The reason for the discontinuation of the Avenger 220 Street might be its slow sales since the company already has a more affordable Avenger 160 Street which is quite famous and garners decent sales. Apart from this, the Avenger 220 is also available in the 'Cruise' avatar which going forward may remain the sole 220 cc Avenger model. The Bajaj Avenger se
